My two cents on the issue:

- To me anyone that multiowns plots, is suspicious of selling Gil for real money. No proof, but suspicion is deffo there, even if multiowning itself is not against ToS.
- Devs don't care about people selling Gil for real money. And that is because these sellers keep a whole section of the game alive and that is clubbing with thousands of people attending every night. Each big venue to run needs 10-15m Gil per opening and there's no way for an owner to get this kind of Gil unless they own dozens of subs or buy Gil for real money. If they go after Gil sellers, a whole section of the game will collapse overnight.
- Other Gil buyers are gamba addicts. I have witnessed hundrends of thousands of Gil changing hands over a gamba table every night.
- People post about empty wards as an excuse to multiowning. Well, there's also the other side of the coin. On my server (Spriggan) people own whole wards while the bids on a Medium some months ago were more than 400.
- There's no other activity in the game than venue support that needs this kind of Gil. The root of the issue is there and I see no solution to it.
-The ethical would be 1 FC and one private plot per account. You want a second FC plot? Pay a second subscription.

Yeah I call lies on that one, but good attempt nonetheless, I've been following housing pretty closely, and I am certain that no mediums reached that much. In fact, a medium that was up in this round, LB5, a very cozy LB medium, had 16 bids on it in FC ward.

There's no other activity in the game than venue support that needs this kind of Gil. The root of the issue is there and I see no solution to it.

Once again, if you dont multiown, it's better to not say anything or at least ask about how it works, I dont do savage raiding, I dont talk about savage raiding.

I, myself own more than one FCs in one account and along with my partner we own a good amount of subs even if I'm not considered a "multiowner". But I can see the potential of it. Making far more gil with just 16 subs than any activity in Eorzea demands. Except one.
I'm also owner of several venues, I have been asked to pay 60m gil per week from people to manage them (that is 10-15m per opening). I couldn't afford it but there are people that do. I know how much gil/hour staff is getting paid from the crier to the dj, I know several "sponsors" who throw tenths of millions left and right to show off, I know multiowners involved in all this, personally. And I know very well that there are only 3 ways to fund a project like this. Either to have a zillion subs, a sponsor who owns a zillion subs or buys Gil, or buy Gil yourself. So, yes. Everything is interconnected. Unless you care to elaborate where else would someone spend billions of amassed Gil.
