Actually I wish the story would treat us as more generic accomplished adventurers than demigods with impossible powers. It does ruin immersion a bit because you can't be normal. Or blend in.

I wouldn't mind so much if I actually got to throw my weight around. But the scions just treat me like I'm their hired thug.
