Chocoblinkers are from the Scars of Abyssea zones, which were well before the 90 cap, as was cruor and cruor parties, you see the point there.

Why is it a bad idea? It gives further meaning to the fights by your own digression. Don't want to use your gaudy Ifrit weapon on your stylish AF weapon? Fine, don't.

They were indeed, but then you actually had to spend gil on them. Irrelevant in this part of the conversation I know. It's why I didn't think of them though, I never got into raising/racing chickens myself, I do however still have the windower(which I've never used of course) scripts that I wrote to buy/sell them from Abyssea en mass after a 8 hr cruor pt, made millions and it's mostly brainless.
