Not a rant about any player but SE!!! For the love of god change attacks to actually making contact for example Aoe: If the player is present in the animation not if their still standing there after the cast finishes. This has for years caused players to get hit by attacks they were completely clear of. Yes nothing more enjoyable then being clear of Aoe and still getting hit by it, even though your Million yards away from it!!!

I use to get so annoyed at this too until I figured out that if you get hit or not is entirely based off the cast time, not the animation. If it has a cast bar, get out before it's done. The animation will play out after but you'll get hit regardless if you weren't out when the cast finished.
Not saying this will fix all issues (there's always random lag ) but it helped me tons.

Decided to take a break from WHM and pick up my books as SCH. Things shouldn't be that terribly spicy, I thought. I was wrong and am in need of therapy.

Shortly after this, the tank earned themselves a third lightning stack and lived to tell the tale.

So earlier today I was running raid roulettes as pld tank and got an 18 min in-prog. I wondered what it was. I load in and surprisingly enough it's P12, but there were only two other dps and a sage in there.

According to one of the two remaining dps, it was their first time, had lots of other first-timers in there, and neither of the tanks wanted to tank. While we eventually fill and clear in less time it took for the penalty to clear on the first leaver, it makes me wonder why people sign up for roles they don't want to perform in duty roulette.

Honestly, the most annoying ones for me are the ones who won't tank until I pull.

I load in, I see the other tank has no stance.
No stance on during the whole cutscene wait.
Cutscenes finish, no stance.
Give it a few secs, turn mine on, pull, and they immediately turns theirs on and start competing for aggro during opener burst.

Like dood, if you want to tank, give me a sign.

Just happened, sprout in world of darkness, after cerberus my poor dude had two debuffs and ended up passing out on the floor leading to Cloud of darkness, healer writes “lmao” Im still laughing
