The same can be said about your started threads
Trolls are active in every game. The moderation team here doesn't work as hard to shut them down as some other games do.I’m actually baffled at how active the trolls are for this game like jeez you have shallow lives if every facet of this game must be brought up to ridicule to give you some serotonin. Alas the only reason I want you to stay is because S-E milk you for your alts as is so that’s all good.
I think you might have hit on why SE doesn't ask the mods to do more with the trolls. They're mostly harmless considering the very low participation in the forums so might as well have the sub income from their multiple accounts.
I would understand some odd, hard to find bug with LB not working and is hard to replicate, but things like Diadochos Sword crash is just neglect of QA. I've found it like 30 minutes after patch went live and crashed my game ~2 hours later when I got curious and right clicked the recipe. You just need to to type "dia" in crafting log and very first 3 results are very ominous looking items without any icons or recipe. Then you just need to click on recipe tree/raw materials list and game crashes instantly.
One would think that they would at least check new recipes that the patch adds.

one could say we need more time between GaiusDrakon posts to even hope for any quality.
3 to 4 months sounds good to me
I said I’m not defending them just merely being reasonable when it comes to game development. You purely can’t test for everything some stuff will slip through the cracks. I didn’t let them off for the housing lotto situation for instance but apparently being reasonable is protecting a company. I mean by all means mom and keep paying because you can disconnect yourself from a fictitious house.
Oh goodness, that is terrifying! I wasn't aware of this. Thank you for making us aware about it. I'm going to let the omnicrafters in my FC know so they don't find themselves crashing;;I would understand some odd, hard to find bug with LB not working and is hard to replicate, but things like Diadochos Sword crash is just neglect of QA. Live by the Sun, love by the Moon~
I think people have different meanings of "quality." I've played games that what was lacking was code quality - gamebreaker bugs (dupes), server crashes multiple times per day, moneypresses (buy from an NPC and sell back same item for a profit).
this particular bug IS in the list of known issues from the patch notes:
An issue wherein selecting a Diadochos Sword, opening the subcommand menu, and selecting Recipe Tree will cause the client to hang.
so they ARE aware of it.
You gotta remember who you're dealing with. If you aren't dragging the game through to mud at every single turn when something goes wrong you're the problem.I said I’m not defending them just merely being reasonable when it comes to game development. Jesus I swear people like Stormy have some kink or fetish for negativity or something. Listening to them youd think xiv was like launch Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout 4

wait people actually believed they were taking more time on patches for quality reasons? EW has kinda been a trainwreck in terms of consistent quality.
That line was corporate speak.
It roughly translates to "the budget for this game has been cut by higher ups at SE so we're not spending as much time on it anymore", but that's not a good marketing tagline.
