    Everyone is screaming "lack of content", but what kind of content do you wish for?

    Give me examples. What is it that you want? A patch every 2 months instead of 4? More MSQ? More Dungeon, Raids, Trials? Two Ultimates per patch? More grindy stuff? More PVP stuff? More solo content? If then, what? Deep Dungeons or anything else? Is there any content that isn't in the game that you want to suggest? I personally would like to see solo Raids/Trials with solo mechanics. But I'm a casual player, so I have nothing to complain since FFXIV is the best causal MMO of all time. But what about you endgamers, what do you want?

    The truth is that the forums are full of terminally online mrfers obsessed with "muh lack of content". Sure, if you are closed in your room all the weekend farming achievements, for the surprise of no one the game looks like no content for you.

    For most casual players (aka any socially adjusted human being) the game still have plenty of content.


    And no, Im not defending SE, I still think endwalker story was terrible in many points.

    V&C dungeon is a good attempt but I think they need to make it worth farming/doing. I came back late to the game and I hadn't seen anyone join my Criteron dungeon ( even the normal criteron one ) in PF. Asked people around and they said everyone who had done it had farmed every thing about it. Feels like making V&C dungeon a bit more long term by adding more reward and maybe even things worth farming like Twines and Shines. I dunno, i just think it is not lack of content but rather the newly made one isn't made for long term grinding.

    more job quests.

    a white mage quest about amdapor, a dancer qiest in thavnair, a reaper quest in garlemald. there are many nice options out there... combining 2-3 jobquests could be nice too. since i just want them for lore and fun it wouldnt even be bad if there isnt anything for every job.
    but of course they would be one time and then its done


    more midcore content.

    now thats a term with no clear definition. i mean fights, dungeons, trials whatever you can do without falling asleep in because its too easy (like most dungeons) while also not needing dozens of tries and a premade for it (like ex trials and especially savage). for exemple some of the bozja fights or like a few of the a-raid bosses. (like pre nerfed cidolfus back then). the new a-raids are awesome to look at, some mechanics are pretty nice and the music is pure greatness... but they lack sorely in difficulty.

    Read about the various patches prior to Endwalker. Most of them had multiple dungeons and also included a dedicated area or mechanic for the relics. Dungeons and forays are content that you can play repeatedly. Two key words: interaction and repetition. V&C dungeons lack repetition. Island Sanctuary is neither interactive nor repetitive.

    The previous patches are what brought us to this game. I miss them and want them to come back. That’s all!

    I really like the content they have put out, I just wish the execution was better!

    Island sanctuary needs a lot more work to feel like a nice farming sim it is meant to emulate. Like crops taking irl days to grow is a nice option to have but if I want to actually play it like harvest moon let me have fast growing crops, animals that give produce more often and let me rear them from babies! Breeding new variants from the wild caught ones etc. And let us bring NPC's from MSQ onto our island and have them hang out. Everyone would love to bring their waifu/husbando over to their little island. Expand it more to have more housing like features, let us build a little cottage.

    Savage criterion is great, I was wanting 4man hard content for years and we got it! I just want it to actually give savage gear. Having another way of gearing would be great and I think it was a good chance they never took.

    New deep dungeon I hope they add more loot too, some really rare ones!

    I personally don't care for exploratory zones, Eureka and bozja had some nice moments but were mostly mind destroying boring grind. And on top of that you felt like time was wasted when they then nerfed the requirements later on. If they did a relic weapon like guild wars 2 did their 2nd gen legendaries I would love that. Each weapon with it's own unique look, it's own story line and effects. You have to explore the world and spent a long time crafting and gathering too. I'd like that a lot more than mindlessly running DR again.

    The pvp rework was nice too, it's a lot more fun to me than it was. I just am STILL waiting for the old rewards to come back like they said they would..

    And the usual outfits we get, the housing stuff etc I love. Always love me some new furniture, just gimme more item slots.

    If I had a wish I would ask for more raids, make each tier 5 bosses!

    Overall for content I really was the most excited for all the content in EW patches than I was compared to shb.

    Reasons to repeat V&C

    A good relic grind that makes you feel like you really worked hard for that ONE special weapon.

    A deep dungeon that feels mor exploration based and more open air than the closed off claustrophobic rooms we always get

    Dungeons that randomize a few paths every time so that the experience is not the exact same script every time. (For Example the ronka dungeon could experience a cave in 35% of the time that forces you to dive into the watering holes in the cave to get to the other side)

    Delivery quests that instead of just buying the item and using a macro to make and hand in the item to the NPC next to me requires an actual delivery that includes land based travel to get to the destination and fostering familiarity with the world

    Some sort of player cooperation element in Island Sanctuary

    an exploration zone like has been done in the past with interesting raids that aren't just corridors and systems that aren't just tank and spank

    Customization options for your gear that includes more than one dye option and additions to the gear that can be crafted. Like a weaver being able to add some badges to a military coat, or add a hooded version to a chest piece so that while everyone can have the same gear piece, you can maybe add some uniqueness to it and add a reason to level crafters all the more.

    Thats all I could think of in 5 minutes sadly.

    Then your perception of some Endwalker story points has a mutual aspect with this post you've written.
