If you turn your settings down low enough, you will only see a fraction of the actual amount of character models. It's not what you wanted, but it's a start, lol.

This has been requested time and again and has been ignored by SE as there is no reason for it. The likelihood of it happening is slim to none as it invalidates the work the dev team put into the glamour system, making the items and invalidates the purchase of mogstation items. There will never be a glamour toggle. Cease.

Wait, wait, I think my mom used to watch this soap opera. It turns out the wealthy financier actually murdered his cousin and hired an actress to get surgery to look just like her and take her place, but then the son found out because the actress didn't know the son was a furry and got scared, and then the son used his fur suit to become a local legend prowling the woods near the financier's mansion to get evidence, but before he could.....his real mother turned up alive! And she's also a trained assassin who's been using furry conventions as cover, and.....then the VCR broke down and we missed a few episodes, but when we caught up again, the mom and the actress were together now? I dunno, it got weird after that.

Actually, there's a modder who did something like that for ultimate weapons, Mogstation and Nier gear lol
