You don't think it is a little unhealthy? Do the people wishing him happy birthday know the birthday of there doctor, hair cutter, or any number of people they interact with on a regular basis. In the past some have even sent gifts to SE.

Yeah, I would, if I knew when their birthday was. Maybe it's cultural, but from where I hail, wishing strangers a happy birthday is a normal thing to do.

You and I both know that people in this game, a lot of them have this very weird "e-relationship" with Yoshi P, that somehow they feel they will be noticed because of it, I dont think we've seen happy birthdays for Ion from the WoW team did we ? But in this game its "normalized" because as I just said they have this weird imaginary relationship with Yoshi P, and it actually is unhealthy, yes.

have you seen any interviews with Ion? he is a cold hearted douche and I doubt even his mother wishes him happy birthday. he designed a decent dungeon, but aside from that, he has an elitist attitude and ruined the direction of WoW. I can see why you like him.

have you been able to figure out how to make the posts not even show up as blocked? ublock maybe? Or do you just deal with the scads of blank posts?

Nah it'll still say blocked so yeah I'll sometimes have a chain of blocked messages cause they tend to quote each other but when I see one with real words is when I know it's something that is worth reading and maybe even worth responding to.

I wish I could and Would just do this...but Id be lying if I said I didnt enjoy the Unhinged Lunacy sometimes.
Helps not to take things TOO seriously, even if I might get heated in a moment or 2...but I can laugh at it later.

Same. I dont celebrate mine, but I always enjoy saying "Happy Birthday" to someone if I know their Birthday.
And I enjoy hearing it to, much more then receiving a Gift.

They wanted something to get mad over. I've been getting a bit hyped for FFXVI after some of the more recent stuff the marketing team has put out. Guess I'm not allowed to.
