Even that takes long enough time and would keep me entertained for weeks.
Variant and Criterion dungeons don’t have much replayability, that’s true, but take fair amount of time too.
When it comes to housing, I love decorating and keep redecorating my house, apartment, FC room, house of our FC and places of my friends and it’s an endless source of creative possibilities for me. That alone could entertain me for months even if there wouldn’t be anything else to do (which there is).
Furthermore, I spend my time with my friends (it’s a MMO), we run maps, do glam contests etc.
Then there’s the Island, which is meant to be a quiet space after an exhausting story of EW, and I just love coming back to it and enjoy the views or RP with friends (it’s a role playing game after all).
PvP - Occasional CC to slowly rise to tank 25 for the glam keeps me busy for the entire time between patches (or the last few weeks before the next patch if I was focused on other content). There are also frequent Irregular Tomestones events (like now), which is a great time to play RW with FC friends.
Tribal Quests are also stretched over decent amount of time, so that’s also a nice thing to do, with the current one being my all time favourite.
I enjoy almost every aspect of the game, and often find myself rushing content, because there’s too much to do in the little time we have between patches. WoW used to not have major patches for as long as 8 months and that was hell, because apart from end game, there’s NOTHING to do in there if you want to stand a chance with finding a group of people willing to revisit older content like achievements etc.
That’s the beauty of FF for me - it has constantly kept me occupied with relevant content, and if I was fed up with the “endgame” content and grind for gearing up, there was and still is a ton I can do outside of that and will always find people to form a party with.
I play for 5-6 hours over work days and around 10 hours over weekends and not once I have bumped into a situation that I had nothing to do (even with currently live content).
