G'raha in particular is obnoxious because he was written to suddenly make large swathes of the story revolve around him, specifically. I remember my interest in the remnants of the Allagan Empire being largely linked to the fact that the Garleans looked to it in order to improve their magitek - something which strangely vanished as a plot thread altogether despite it making perfect sense in the narrative for the surviving Garleans to see if they can't find any lost technology that might improve their current predicament.

Instead of something like that we get 'adventure' after 'adventure' with a character who, quite honestly, would receive a restraining order from a decent amount of people for his unwanted clinginess. Most RPG's have the decency to allow the player to choose if they want that sort of character acting like that around them.

As for the other Scions, I'd like at least one or two to be killed or retired over time - to better allow new characters to arrive and shine who do not immediately become clones of the existing Scions in terms of their personality, morality and beliefs. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
