I have to agree. I imagine that we would be having a far more productive discussion if we were spared the input of those who are willing to accept the decline, whether it be due to them playing at a pace that is far slower than the norm, the lack of the better frame of reference set by previous expansions, or whether they are being needlessly contrarian towards other posters.

At any rate, at this point in Shadowbringers I was having the time of my life in Bozja, I only wish we'd gotten at least 1 relic zone in Endwalker.

97% of the Negativity I see here is just...laughable. Nuggets of truth, but most good points get overshadowed but just comical levels of Delusion.
But Mr. Atelier-Bagur here I feel is more balanced and comprehensive, compared to the competition.

I only hope we don't have an expansion with content as vapid as Endwalker has had in 7.0 because at this point I do not see the 10 more years plan for FFXIV coming to fruition. There has been nothing to suggest that the trust that was lost since this expansion launched will be regained in the future, with repeated doubling down on all the things that made Endwalker controversial to watered down relics to a lacklustre story.

A predictable content rollout I was fine with - until they extended the patch cycles to an ungodly length of time with the quality of content suffering as a result. This is not sustainable unless the game would choose to drive out the people who are here for an mmorpg for the people who are here for "venues."

Ahh, yes, ungodly amount of time. That stark difference from 3.5 months to 4 months. Such a huge, massive increase.
