I mean if you're going to talk about priorities, then be honest. This game would be dead because even bothering to log in and play this game shouldn't be anywhere on most people's priority list, including yours.
I'm sorry you lost your house, it's an annoying and devastating thing to have happen, especially due to IRL issues. I understand having a house is a "vanity item" but if you had issues IRL preventing you from logging in and still lost it, then I understand how annoying and sad it can feel, especially if the house was something that made you feel happy in the game.
But as others have said, you could use this opportunity to not have to worry about keeping a sub up and logging in if you want to take a break. If you feel really bummed out, then you can always try to take a break or try a different game or another hobby. These things could help you cheer up.
I hope that eventually you can get another plot and rebuild your house, or maybe even make it different if you wanted to.![]()
Please understand and look forward.

No, they're the worst breed of troll, strawmanning what they perceive as shills, so that the streak of negativity stays alive on here.
Mortal Fist

That could have been said in less snarky fashion...
I too have to remind myself to enter my house too from time to time. Actually I have marked these visitations on my calendar so I will do them at least every 30 days. I like my yard and garden the best. Those are the parts on the plot where I put more thought to make them feel nice to be around. +MB and bell are nearby, and generally the house's location as teleport destination is convenient for me.
Hang in there OP. It sucks, but I'm sure everything turns out alright.
I'm very sorry to hear that, it does sound like you did genuinely love your house. But sadly, you just didn't enter it. You need to enter it.
What people struggle to understand I think, is that yoshi didnt design housing with the idea in mind that most of you wouldnt actually be using it. He designed it with the idea that these would be bustling areas, lively with FCs and people hanging out all around, and cute neighborly dynamics. Instead though, the majority just claim a house and then never go to it, leaving wards completely empty of anybody-you're LUCKY if you see even like..3 members of one FC hanging outside in one. Which is for a multitude of reasons (no certain npcs, no server travel thingy, etc) but even so, a lot of you have adopted this mindset of.. "Well, I'll just visit it once a month to walk in to keep it". I don't know how else to say it but to say it-that was not his vision, I dont think lol. Think the timer is with the idea that..you're probably in your house so often that 1 time in a month is nothing. but for a lot of you, that one time a month is everything-it's the soul reason you have that house. When it wasnt supposed to be.
Your case is a little more understandable because you were actually moving irl. but at the same time...that was just one time in an entire month to log in. It gives you an in-game warning too as well. If you have a house, always check your /timers. Always always always. Ideally, you should be in your house often enough that you shouldnt need to, but if you're going to be doing something for a long time IRL, FOCUS on /TIMERS. THAT is where your attention should be. Check it. Don't rely on "I thought I walked in". Because every single one of these posts amount to that. "I thought I walked in". Well, CHECK to make sure. The means ARE in your hands to be sure.

I lost an FC house once this way. Yeah it's my fault but it I was still bummed. I had max level subs and stuff and all of it was just gone.
Cheering over this situation that is OP is having a hard time irl and due to that lost his house. I see you and some others chose to roleplay as garbage today. How nice of you. When life is hard having your little virtual home can be a comfort and escape. I guess a bit of empathy is beyond you.i have 0 sympathy for people who never use their house or at the very least check in on it literally once a month.
you're depriving other people from having one. the system's garbage enough as it is, yeah, i get you but uhhh if you're not using it then i will actively cheer when i hear about situations like this.
As usual there is always spiteful ppl ready to kick when someone is down. Let's hope when something bums you out people don't treat you the same way.

Imagine how many players feel bummed logging in every day, having played this game for years without ever owning a personal mansion. 8 years and still looking, in my case. All the while some people who are lucky enough to own one don't even enter theirs for a whole month and a half. Hopefully the winner out of those 130 bids is an active player who doesn't have to set reminders to keep their mansion.

There's something good about it too. You can now join the Balmongians self-pity group in the Housing Forum, wallowing in self-pity and memories of lost lotteries.
