Edit: I've now got a couple people who clearly don't align with my world views, so without turning my simple post in to some political debate... let's keep it simple - LGBT people deserve love and kindness and to be accepted. If comments like that and adjacent comments in any way set you off, you obviously won't enjoy my company. So why force drama? Be happy, be kind to others, do something nice for someone. It's ok.

I'm honestly not surprised you got comments like that, look where you are posting. ;-)

It may not be a nice thing to say, but some people on here are a bit socially inexperienced, (especially around the opposite sex), have poor self esteem, and have yet to achieve financial success in life due to various factors. They are also thin skinned and resent anyone showing their life is better in any way.

There is nothing wrong with having a good job and a fun satisfying life where you actually LIVE and not just exist hiding from the world. Be proud of how you live and just ignore anyone who doesn't like it. Honestly, I am amazed you are wasting time with this silly marriage thread thing considering you are out and about in the real world, you sound pretty cool and fun. Oh course, most just use it to get the goodies. LOL

And in case you are wondering, no, I am already married in real life and much older than you. LOL

It's way worse if you hide such info...if people are open about their views and preferences - it makes it easier to connect/ or avoid said person

I was thinking that very same thing while I was reading her post.

Seeing as she sleeps at 3pm central, and it is 2AM there right now(and my biggest online range is in the mornings) in my Time Zone, I think that solves one of the biggest hurdles I tend to have with people in the game.. which leaves 2 things that are still hurdles nonetheless.

1. I live in Europe.
2. I don't want to move my main to another server, I mean I'd be down for it if not for the fact that I finally joined an FC that I happen to like.

Oh my, I actually really appreciate you mentioning this. I totally mis-typed that! 3am is what I meant. Whoops. =X I mean, I'm still a pretty flexible person. It's just easier with people who fit a NA night hours type schedule. Still, I'm always happy to chat. I always just kind of follow the adventures life takes me on.

Yeah, but one of my big passions is XIV. And I can tell you, it's pretty rare on a dating app to get lucky and match with someone who already plays or is openly interested in it. I'd much rather share one of my favorite past times with the person I like. And, hey, what's the worst that could happen? A few snarky replies? I'll survive. It's worth the chance of stumbling in to someone who wants that adventure, in and out of game. ^.^

Unfortunately there are people who lurk here, who end up harrassing others on discord or ingame.

I pray you never run into any of them. I've heard enough crazy and ugly stories from friends.
