SE needs to do something about all the hate bait trolls in these forums

Dont you yourself have 2 accounts ? I'm pretty sure I saw 2 of your characters on this forum, with a different account "ValkyrieL" or something along those lines, which you probably use to bypass the daily limit of posts on the forums.

No, that's a different person entirely. Valkyrie Profile was a popular game in the 90s, they are probably just also a fan.


I only have 1 forum account, and only 1 game account I even use. Hell, I only play a single character on my account, because she's a legacy character with a ton of time invested and I just can't be bothered to have alts. and when I hit the post limit I'm done for the day.

Yeah it's unreal. Just search "Titanmen" on the forums. There are like dozens of people being accused as Titanmen over the years.

He was a troll from 2020. I think there was evidence he had two alts at that time. However, now every time someone is a troll people just immediately assume they're a Titanman alt without evidence, which is how paranoid the forums have become. People literally accused each other of being Titanman, that's how paranoid people are.

I'm not sure if it's hate? Well not really from everyone. They're more of an annoyance. They go out of their way to post threads that barely have anything to do with the game to just fan the flames. While also necro bumping old topics that might not even be an issue any more depending on the topic. With barely even saying anything related to said topic. All due out of sheer boredom or that one of their alts or their main finally had their ban run out.

I am never sure if to engage in such topics. You do not really want to feed the trolls, but the problem is the hate/anger side is always more heavy, and ends up getting depressing. This is especially true when they deal with real life issues and how people are treated. I sawer the vast majority of LGBTQ+ related topics are not done in good faith and are just used by trolls as a shield knowing the venom it will draw from some. Thats a thing too, not everyone can tell a troll from someone who is genuinely being a arse, so sometimes its worth chiming in with some positivity or retort even if it may mean playing a trolls game.

I must admit, I have never had to use the Block feature before this forum haha. I am not always the biggest fan of it, and will never put someone on there for gameplay/lore related reasons, but over the last year it has had some use when people cross a line into outright homophobia/transphobia/bullying.

Frankly, they need to do a whole lot more than just deal with the hate-bait trolls, the GD is pretty infested, and getting any meaningful discussion is pretty rare.
