I've made a couple million in Gridania, but it's really sporadic.
I only bothered to post here, however, to say that customers need to use their best opinion on whether or not they're getting ripped off, just like when sellers put up an item for a price they need to not be stupid and put up items at a terrible or negative profit margins.
I was able to get a very valuable item to me for 200 gil per when they're a synth of a 1500 gil item just a few days ago, so I bought 600 of them.

I'm just trying to present the discussion in the most open-ended way possible, lol. Trying my best to be ..neutral! On to your statement, how do I know what a discount is? A discount off of what? I have to go to Ul'Dah just to find out. So why would I not sell in Ul'Dah if I am already there checking the price?I can't figure out if this topic is serious or not. You're at that level, and just finding out NOW?
Just remember, if you're selling something in LL or Grid, you're basically the ONLY source for that product. It's easier to see while browsing, and if the price is right, people will buy it. I like to think of using an "Out of Ul" discount of 15% when I'll eventually sell things.
*gasp* Shush with this logic! A dev might hear you.. O.O
Not /endthread. That's nice to know that just like everything else they blamed it on the crappy work of the other team, but do we have anything to look forward to?
How do you know what price to sell an item for? I look at my retainer's inventory, and I have a huge list of branches and logs with no point of reference. Are they worth 500 gil, 5000 gil, or 50,000 gil? Who can say? Why would I sell in Gridania or Limsa Lominsa with those kind of lingering questions!I've made a couple million in Gridania, but it's really sporadic.

Oh come on Neptune, you know damn well why you cant see prices at the other cities, so you are either trolling to see who you can get riled up about this, or you are some new player who bought Neptunes account from RMT and honestly dont know

Lol vedis. I'm just trying to make a point, start a discussion, and maybe even get some feedback from the dev team.
I'm pretty amazed by it, but there are a lot of new people starting the game right now. A friend of mine started a linkshell just for noobs and it is really active. What do you think new people are going to think when they hit the market wards for the first time? If they decide to quit the game because of how stupid it is, what's to stop them? 2.0? 2.0 is a joke to new people, especially when there isn't any kind of detailed information to go by, like the kind about the wards.

They said in a post that the wards for the three main cities will be linked. How much more detailed can it get until it gets through your skull?

I'm so over you Neptune. Since your posts about MP and cure costs. It's just LOL at you now basically
