FFXIV lacks content that actually make people engage and talk with each other (most of the structured content involves merely 8 static players). The baldesion arsenal was a very convoluted attempt to this.

And still is, to this day, the most fun i have ever had in XIV.

The chaotic nature of BA was what made it feel like an accomplishment.
