I'm super disappointed that I was not a winner, but I think the biggest let down for me (and all the others in this position) is that I was hoping to meet up with some FC people. Fortunately(?) none of us got picked for the lottery, but I was seeing that some FCs applied and one of many got selected, and the one isn't going to go if the others aren't.
So assuming all the tickets spaces were held by lotto winners, it is possible tickets are going to come up in general sales because FC people who were looking for a chance to meet up at Fanfest and won't be going because that isn't going to be able to happen.

If they do a lotto next FF they should
1)Allow for FC members to register together so either they all get tickets or they don't. I've seen conventions do group registrations so, it shouldn't be 'that' hard to pull off.
2) Send an email to all people who entered to tell them that A) you won or B) you didn't. I know this isn't how "normal" lottos works, but it would have been nice to have a clear answer

(there was a lot of questions on the twitter post b/c the emails were sent out yesterday instead of today. I know the wording says that players will be informed "by" the 3rd which means that it could be anytime before than as well)

I prefer they kept it as equitable as possible and not subject to conditions of say FC membership as then you are allowing a group to have an advantage above individuals who may not even belong to an FC. There shouldn't be any conditions that allow groups or individuals to have an advantage over others that simply isn't fair. I am hoping that random is random and if so I am happy.

While I don't disagree fully, by not taking FCs into consideration you will (probably) end up with a lot of orphan tickets, which just seems messy to me. I know we have huge FCs out there and that could really mess something up. But some level of "group" registration would be nice. So maybe not FC members specifically, but allow a point person to register up to a certain amount of players and they would win together. Put a cap on it (5 other names), but at least try to support players who are going to enjoy time with specific other players

I think they'd really struggle to satisfy the demand. There are far more players interested than they could reasonable put on events for I'd reckon.

I will say, it's not a complete deal breaker for meetups if not everyone gets a ticket.
Treat it like a holiday and go spend a long weekend in Vegas or London.

I think for the email situation for "did I win or not and why is it the 2nd and not the 3rd wtf" happening, it was because it was the 3rd... in Japan. That's the only true answer I can think of for that.

Whoops, you are right. I have weird filters on my mail and official account stuff goes to a separate email. I will fix that.
