Few stories from yesterday's daily
- Leveling: Dzemael Darkhold
Zoned into duty in progress with 36m (what??) elapsed as a PLD. The party was stuck at last magitek wall before the corridor that leads toward last boss chamber. I asked for inquiry to learn what actually happened... no response.
We cleared the duty just fine later on. But if I have to make a wild guess as of why the previous tank is nowhere to be seen (assuming they even bail), it was probably because the WHM never casted anything but Cure I. They weren't even making use of their Freecure procs. Good thing those HQ potions left from PotD is still around!- 5678: The Burn
Zoned in as a PLD again. Got a first time notification coming from the SCH. Okay great, I need that for my WT. I smelled trouble the moment we cleared first pack: SCH was out of MP(what???)
Fast forward to last boss, I have never seen or heard Aetherflow being used on top of excessive use of Physick/Adlo/Succors to react against incoming damage which is probably the major reason they're manaless for most of time. This became an issue on last boss where on top of being manaless, they also died quite early into the boss fight. The RDM bailed their first death but both of died at about 30% HP remaining while the dragon was about to touch down during the foggy phase. Had to be a Blue Healer to buy the RPR time to dps boss to death.- Lv90: Dead Ends
Decided to take a break from those two tanking duties and queued with a role that I'm most familiar with: healer (WHM). That BLM really loved the scent of death it literally looked like they're trying to die at every boss mechanics. I tried my best to bail them out every times but ultimately they slipped hard enough that they finally die a total one time at 2nd boss.
That DNC made a good choice to swap partner off the BLM after 2nd boss because apparently the latter never even leave 4th slot in enmity list, I'm not even sure what were they doing the entire time.- Expert: Troia
The only good run I had from these dungeon roulettes. Zoned in as a PLD. The run was so fast Scarmiglione started summoning his minions when his health was already at sub 30%(?).
A moment of reprieve would be good...
I would play yoyo with these tanks' health bar just to force them to finally pop their cooldowns out of fear of dying (or worse: Clememecy, if they're PLD lol). Seems to work wonder for most of time.
