Just like FFXI, make all Artifact armor wearable by all classes

It's not just in ffxi, it's a tradition in ff games since time immemorial

The moment you mastered a job by acquiring the required JP, you could wear the outfit of another job while using the abilities and actions of the job you mastered

I think they should bring it back with artifact armor in this game, which is basically the identifiable outfits of each job

I want that. I also want monks in PLD armor. I want summoners in Dragoon gear. I want SE to let people do what they want to do. There are a lot of naked elephants and frogs. WAR wearing BLM gear is the least of the problem. And SE already puts NPCs in the game which have bad sets to their weapon.

Gues what. It doesnt f***ing matter. Limiting peoples choices just because of some fantasy makes those artifact gear most of the time completly useless and less used.

Also, not only battle jobs. What about DoH/L gear? class/job limiting is just stupid and should end in 2010 MMO era.

This is my biggest annoyance. Like, artifact gear is all well and good when you only have a couple of classes you can usually use it for glams. But once you become Omni 60+, it is all worthless. I can never really use the AF for Machinist on my Machnist unless I A) Maintain a unique glamplate for machinist or B) keep a whole other set of gear glamoured for the class to separate it from my BRD and DNC.

I would love to be able to use the lvl 60 AF SCH gauntlets, but I cant because I also need a glamour for my White Mage and Astro.

And people complaining about class fantasy... we have people who wear frog heads, swimsuits, and more. Letting me use the lvl 90 paladin plate armor set to make a sick armor-plated tank glamour for all 3 of my tanks is not going to break class fantasy for anybody as long I am still running around whacking people with a shortsword and shield and using Paladin spells. And even that is optional because I could be running around with a Zantetsuken glam sword and an invisible shield.

At this point there is no excuse not to... job identity is now limited mostly to the weapon.

I can wear plate armor as a dancer... the job that is usually scantily clad.

How would that ruin your experience when there’s literally worse in-game currently ? Really, how ?

You have chocobo/elephants/bunny/frogs outfits. Meme headpieces, and you’re here saying the gear sets which are more serious, down to earth and fitting the setting would ruin your experience while you have bikini tanks, dps and healer using PvP heavy armor glam and all the rest ?
