How much of the game's content have you actually completed?

about the only things I havent done/completed are ultimates and savages (I am just not THAT good with mechanics) anything pvp related and fishing

I enjoy existing in the universe and plodding along finishing things as I feel like. about the only things I work at completing in any kind of timely fashion is MSQ and new alliance raids. Side content is always a nice flavour in my thinking and if I see a quest I never noticed last time I was through an area, I will likely do it.

Why do we pay a monthly sub when 80% of the game is single-player?

I've not really done most savage tiers and never tried Ultimate (Mostly accessibility/visual impairments on my side).

Outside of this, depends on what metric you use, really. What metric are we using? A semantic question, granted.

But, if I were to use achievement points as an indicator, I would say that I have completed roughly around 62% of everything that the game has to offer.

Not a lot, but I want to explore it all eventually. Only goal I met so far was capping all combat Jobs to the current max. Doing FATE farms for EW zones ATM, need to do DoL/DoH at some point.

What a great thread. This game has been such a massive sync of my time for almost two years. I feel like ive done and seen so much but I log in every day to be reminded, that there is still so much more to do. If I do ever somehow complete all my goals, I can't wait to start an alt and do it all again.

Why does Square Enix dislike this game? Why are they siphoning our funds to other projects?

Granted, FFXIV is a good alternative to Discord that’s more interactive and feels like a “metaverse”, plus it’s a lot easier to use than Second Life. The modding scene has given this game a much-needed boost when Square Enix otherwise fails to meet expectations. And if you’ve got friends on this platform, it’s hard to switch.

But, let’s be clear—many people are still subbed to FFXIV despite its content, not because of it. Our community has done far more for the game than the company itself in the post-Endwalker cycle. If those modders were hired by Square Enix, many complaints will likely subside. Other companies have done it—it’s possible!

Kinda hard to gauge. But going by FFXIV Collect on Achievement tab, I have about every categories filled up to 55% - 85% save for PvP, Legacy, & DoH/L things. Meanwhile in-game I see I have 17,440 Achievement Pts at the time of writing this reply. So I guess... quite much but still missing a lot?

I did started hunting some achievements more actively about half a year ago, albeit still a half a$$ed attempt cause I just choose not to do whichever that have super strict conditions (i.e. my failed solo PotD cause internet decides to F me up). It kinda shows me just how vast the actual quantity of things I can still do.

I'm a semi-casual enjoyer of PvP especially Frontlines but has not touched CC at all after acquiring the Makai horses & don't feel like dealing with the pressure of the 5 vs 5 in general, so I deserted that content. I'll probably try out Rival Wings eventually.

Ultimates isn't something that I feel like want to actively prog, let alone clearing. There exist the interest, however faint that is. At the moment though, it's outshined by every other shinies that I can achieve elsewhere. If my (future) static is on board I'll ride with them though.

Heaven-on High is still virtually untouched outside unlocking them. There's a title (True Hero, I think?) I want to get though so I will eventually shove myself in!

Older treasure maps & dungeons achievements also seems chill but being RNG reliant, it's sits quite low in my priority list.

Gold Saucer things, on the other hand, is quite possibly the only section in the game where I have very close to 0 interest outside occasional visit for Fashion Report, daily and weekly cactpot, and some GATE if I happen to be in location. I don't even know things like Verminion and Chocobo Racing exist until like couple of weeks ago when my FCmates are talking about best ways to generate MGPs in the light of that 4m MGP mount release and yet I've been in this game since early 5.2. That was wild.

Unsure if NG+ counts but... I've replayed NG+ from post StB to the end of MSQ more than 10 times but I realized I always missed some sort of easter egg from each replays! Currently have a safe file of post ARR NG+, can't wait to see what else I'm missing!

It's easier to figure out what I haven't done and that's Ultimate. I definitely want to do one at some point, but it's more the scheduling than the actual fight that keeps me from getting into that.

How much have I completed? Yes.

How much am I interested in? ....None of it anymore. I'd already be gone if I didn't have several friends still hung up on the game.
