This is the core thing to me, you should be playing the game because you find it fun, accomplishing, or otherwise entertaining, if you are doing TEA or DSR or any other Ultimate with 50 plogons, and you had your fun and satisfaction doing it that way, more power to you, you are living your best life, don't let anyone take that away from you and what you do won't impact the experience of anyone who wasn't in the party, the most I'd ask from you is a degree of transparency, it is best if your party knows what you are doing, you are affecting other people's experience, for better or worse, so you should make certain you aren't directly affecting their experience in a way they disagree with, though realistically most people won't care.

People are just doing it for the sake of clear so does it matter?
If those that care for "prestige" record the all fights in the game to where your entire party must do it to prove no addons are used on anyone. To be honest that won't happen.

If beloved Yoshi-P and SE was really against it. They would implement a anti-cheat. They don't have a hard line stance to stop players.

No rules are rules not guidelines,they are only guidelines if your constantly someone who breaks them. Yoshi-p and SE are STRONGLY against 3rd party add-ons that can be used to create toxicity or make content easier than intended. They realize that however if they add anticheat to kill this problem a lot of QoL that they don't have in the game and just for fun add-ons would get squashed as well and they would prefer not to have to do anything and players respect their wishes (lol yea right it's a dream world idea not reality). I respect that they know how important this decision is and now at the current state some people would be upset with add-ons that have no interaction with raids at all disappearing. The question is when is their breaking point had Neverland got caught with 3rd party, Unnamed get caught ( though japanese community kinda took care of them, harassed them until some deleted their accounts...don't dishonor that community I guess especially after they blasted the west for addons) have now the Gshade incident (bte have they commented on this yet curious). So question is how much till they feel their hand is forced and they have no choice but to add it maybe never, maybe 7.0 honestly we won't know till it happens.

I haven't got to attempt any yet but I do hope in my future I will get the chance but I've got a lot to do to get there me and my friends hit 90 this year so we're still trying to catch up with everything trying to get relic weapons right now and since we are on dynamis taking advantage of the road to 80 to get other jobs and professions to at max, So much to do when you join a game late that is overwhelming now we're learning new stuff everyday even learning stuff in90 dungeons that we beat but we didn't fully understand the mechanics we just beat it and stuff should probably done but didn't realize how helpful or important it was till now. If WoW had something like that for some of the old raids I loved I probably would have gone back and done them multiple times without care when I played that game sadly they don't so unless you get it in classic you never really get to experience how great the raid was when it first came out.

They do have a hard line stance on it if they don't they wouldn't ban people for it lol. Problem is they let it go on too long before actually taking a stance on it. You can be completely against something but if you don't consistently show that or let things slide for a while people will push that boundary I don't get how you act like that's a new thing that's something people do everyday

You can say that all you like it won't change users from using them. Those people who got banned got exposed for using them and the whole party got their stuff removed. They merely just deleted their accounts because they got exposed to the public eye. Harassment are just the psychopaths of the community which that they are. If you are a addon user and there is no visual proof that you using said addons. The rules will forever be guidelines and not actual rules. Only enforced if publicly exposed.
Gshade dev got banned, but Gshade is more or less untrustworthy for those that know what is going on.
Who knows what 7.0 is gonna add. The stance they take isn't hard lined. Not yet anyway.

Edit: The alternative is adding micro patches so it'll keep the addon people to keep up with their patches to be usable.

This is true, I was simply attempting to approach this from the most diplomatic angle possible, I guess I was imagining ways of signal what you are doing without spelling it out, either by using coded language, or by communicating outside the game, as I scarcely use PF and usually try to find groups in Discord communities, but there is still a risk that you could avoid exposing yourself to entirely.

And I absolutely agree on the point about knowing their jobs, I just did a Leveling Roulette run with a NIN that had clearly macro'd Mudras and was taking so much damage I felt bad for the Healer, I'd rather have had someone who was botting their rotation compared to that...
