Been stuck on the exact same early EW quest for over a year now

This is reminding me of a tragic Tower of Zot run that I got in progress a few months ago. When I spawned in, there was only a healer and another dps; apparently their last tank had left as well. The healer in the group said she'd been stuck on this dungeon for a month. Apparently, somehow, no group she was in could clear it. They'd all wipe and disband. I was there on my DPS and definitely wasn't planning on wiping and disbanding, but the queue was still trying to find a tank. We sat around for like 10 minutes when finally I was just like "I'll just come back in on my tank, brb." I left, swapped over to WAR, and requeued the dungeon with "in progress" still enabled. Then I waited. And waited. And it never popped. So I just assumed it must have found her a tank right as I left.

I sent her a /tell 45 minutes later to ask her how it went and to apologize for not being able to come back, but it showed her as still in the duty. I fear she may still be stuck there to this day. O_O;

Anyway, OP, maybe watch a youtube video of someone else doing it and then just do exactly what they do. I think the stealth missions were ass too, but you can do it.

Im one who's indifferent to the quest. I was able to do it after the 2nd try (because I got too cocky) but the mini-game isnt even complex, you can obviously tell where the game wants you to hide yourself with the objects placed in the zone. I didnt like it, but I didnt hate it either. Seems to me that people just enjoy aggravating themselves rather than just calm down and focus.

this, it was insanely easy to telegraph when the characters were going to turn around. these types of quests were frequent and annoying in EW, hopefully there wont be any in 7.0

That one? No. Now the Quest Children are our future where you do the same but with a Garleanboy? He can go and die out in the cold. That little brat did a lot more stop and starts, back tracks than any that are littered throughout the MSQ. Said quest is an aether current quest too.

I get the msq team just wanted to test out new questing objectives and junk and thats totally cool with me ever since Stormblood, and I appreciate the deviation from your typical "walk to this npc, cutscene, walk to this npc cutscene" but it would've been better if this quest type only occurred just once or twice.

I do want to see what other quest types they come up with for the msq in 7.0 but definitely should hold back on not making them as frequent.

Wasnt hard to do so you are just trolling. I cant imagine anyone taking more than a few attempts to complete it. Grats on getting ppl to reply though.

I had no idea which quest this way and had to look it up. I can't say I've heard anyone have any issue with it. It's a pretty obvious path behind her and you can even cheese it by hanging slightly to her right using LoS to your advantage.

How about unplugging and replugging
