I'm sorry but I am agreeing with Ransu here. Spamming it isn't supposed to be fun. It is essentially a failure state.

If you are ever put in a situation where you have to spam Recuperate to survive (and perhaps still die), these happened:

- you overextended without having any defensive tools for engagement OR playing near walls for cover
- along with the first one, you had nobody initiate with / for you (having a player being an "initiator" massively helps)
- the enemy group-engaged on you, which you alone aren't meant to survive, people need to peel* for you

Peeling isn't just "use ability XY on target ABC", it is also using damage to pressure out enemies that pressure your own team, either by killing them outright for forcing them to retreat. It is why I check my backline often and call inside our backline first.

There is skill issue in the broad sense, depending on the context.

Recuperate is finite and recharging one takes 15s in serverticks. If you had them as your main HP pool or made auto-recuperate to be a thing, stuns / silences wouldn't matter to deny healing like this.

At most I'd reach out an olive branch and advocate for a more snappy application of Recuperate upon button press.
