More positive note a reminder that the DNC artifact ribbon looks unbelievably good on Lyse's hairstyle for fem Viera. No floating, no clipping, perfect length.

I still need to buy that hair! there's so much in the mogstation I still need to buy. So many individual outfit pieces.. that hair for viera.. ugh.

Its not perfect by any means because I got lazy over time, but I wanted to do it before I change races again, so my dumb bnuuy doesn't get lost in the aetherbecause i quite enjoy his looks, lmao
And many of the portaits were made REALLY quick so many of them could do with some work, but just making portaits is pretty fun at least (the system sucks tho)

Would reccomend doing it tho if you can, it's pretty fun to do

I wanted to add as well, Caro, that I really like your male Viera, he has a very gentle look yours and Fukuro’s bunboys are definitely my favs on this thread !

Dressing up is the thing i do the most. I have a bajillion glams for whm.
The beta system for portraits was a bit better since you could easily make more than one for one class without having to make a new gearset.

If there was like, 5 presets for every class, that would be pog, but alas... and you can just save the gear as is, like your Adventure plate, o you can make multiple ones and just save and change the picture when you feel like it... but alas

It's still fun tho, i agree, i DEFINITELY need to work more on many portraits, i did them just to have them..
Like many of my glams are just supposed to be temporary and all, they pretty all over the place lmao, my repaer having same glam as drg wasnt intended in itself but welp...

When i'm in the mood i also spend hours in gpose sometimes

Here's my first Viera character, Haldi Andrewatha wearing gryphonskin breastguard and pantaloons. A character's clothing look is really important to me to keep playing them, maybe because I've been a gamer so long where you couldn't customize in this way or you didn't really get to "see". I feel much happier even getting KO'ed if they were looking good going down.

It's ironic that on my main character, a male Elezen from the profile photo, I got the 1million gil random award so I can buy them most any clothing but I found something inexpensive early on, really liked it and can't imagine changing. For my other characters though, except Haldi (I love his set), it will be awhile before I can really glamorize them.

I did make a new Viera character yesterday, so will be looking forward to creating a good look for them.

Yeah this is a mood right here. I've never touched the outfit that came with it. It's not that it isn't pretty, but one piece and undyeable makes it impossible to do anything with outside of making it into a low effort MNK glam. The one cool thing about it is any MNK weapons with a glow effect will layer the effect over the hands even if you can't see the weapons themselves, so the Makai fists or Omega knuckles for example.

When I made a new Viera character yesterday, there was not the option for freckles like Haldi's. There was only an option for a single black freckle beneath one of the character's eyes. So I think there is some variation even during character creation for the same species.

As a redhaired freckled person myself, always nice to see freckle options and its probably the most common mod I add to my games where customization is possible.
