I've seen a lot of people die in Halone on multiple runs. Its a lot harder to wipe, but individual deaths are definitely common.

We need the return of Thunderlord Cid. I wanna see duty finder groups disband during the first week...
Jokes aside though I get why they don't do that since Alliance Raids are suppose to be the more casual raiding content as compared to savage and ultimate's. At the very least I can be happy with the two savage alliance raids they gave us in Eureka and Bozja... though my disappointment this expansion we didn't get another Field Operation with a new savage alliance raid was rather large.

I agree that it feels shorter and more undertuned than the previous raid and I have a feeling that it may partially be due to expanded raid cycle. This raid is intended for 595 and up but almost everybody on the server has jobs at 620 to 630 as we have had more time to gear up and they also buffed several jobs this patch. This is going to be one of the many side effects of extending out each patch by almost another month from the previous cycle.
Unless they make some tuning changes, which I heavily doubt, I expect this to become the Syrcus Tower of the expansion. We will blow through it and start to skip most mechanics, and when we get the upgraded relics, it will go even faster.
One thing to remember is that this raid was designed and locked in by the time the first raid came out, so it was too late to make very many changes. Expect the third raid to incorporate some of what they have learned from the first and second as they have 8 to 9 months before the next one comes out.
I think it's definitely undertuned. Like we're skipping mechanics already when it's supposed to be current. A lot of groups kill Althyk before he does "knockback tower acceleration" for example. Menphina overall does not do anything interesting whatsoever and definitely does not feel like a final boss of the AR.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.

I understand people think it's too easy that said I can't seem to get through it without like 15+ deaths on my part. As well as I can't seem to avoid the stupid wave thing at all for some reason. I seem to have trouble seeing mechanics when some of the telegraphs for the attacks end up behind me. I don't know if it's because I have such a low ilevel (597) or I'm just completely useless and incompetent.
I still see plenty of deaths from a lot of the bosses huge attacks but no wipes. The AoEs are a lot more to keep track off compared to the bosses in Aglaia so even when you do know how to dodge em, you may be caught off guard quickly if youre too focused on damage but I feel like a lot of people overestimate their own skill to warrant their sense of difficulty.I understand people think it's too easy that said I can't seem to get through it without like 15+ deaths on my part. I think the bosses themselves are fine really. Probably a bit too low on the HP although I also dont like for them to have bigger numbers just to arbitrary prolong the fights anyway. Thats not fun design imo.

It's very easy to die in this raid. If you ignore or are unaware of mechanics, you're toast. Really not sure what you're on about. Full wipes are rare in any 24-man since Orbonne got nerfed. The only thing that's really undertuned are the boss HP values, which should probably be about 10-12ish% higher than they are now in comparison to previous raids.

Seems with good DPS this raid is very short. Might be a good one in the future.

I'm not surprised, I think SE is trying to cater to more people with the casual content. They are currently revisiting every dungeon and trial to allow NPCs to work in them and standardize the mechanics.
Ultimately I think it's purely a marketing move. They'll catter to the more hardcore fanbase with the Extreme and up, while coddling casuals by lowering the bar of casual content.
These last two alliance raids kinda hit the sweet spot of appearing to be dangerous but having practically no challenge to them at the same time. Some people might die, but chances of wiping are slim to none. Whether you think that's good or bad, depends on what you're looking for I guess.
As much as people like to poo-poo on Crystal Tower, at least some parts of it are still dangerous. Void Ark series too.
