    Any item with "Adds refresh effect" increases the refresh by 1/tick.

    wasn't royal cloak 2mp refresh/tic? i can't remember exactly, but i swear i bought that crap for a reason other than a white border

    anyway, point is- buff darklight cowl (and most of the other mage stuff, really)

    New AFv3+2 are 2mp/tick, i think it's only thoses. Vermy +1 was for the MP+ bonus.

    Comparably Vermy cloak was still pretty invaluable though even with that 1 mp/ tic since the only way to restore mp in ffxi was refresh or resting. Here you just stand still for 10 seconds and you have a 4th of your mp back. With the cowl you are going to get what? About one extra combo off over the course of a boss fight?
