I've pretty much only done maps with party finder.

yeah I sometimes hop into one on party finder

I prefer FFA loots because I don't like working for somebody else's paycheck, and that's what it feels like exactly when it's "map owner need, rest greeds"-map PF.
Well, maybe we need to talk about the owner getting more out of maps, especially if they lead everyone to the end.![]()

I think "with your FC" or "With friends you can slap IRL" is the only way to do maps.
If you do "everybody needs" folks drop out just before it's thier turn to produce a map, as there's no reason to keep them in.
If you do "Owner needs, everybody else greeds" then when an item IS good enough, somebody else will just NEED on it, get the item when they shouldn't, and run off.
If you do "lootmaster" nobody joins, because those are always a scam.
If you JOIN a "lootmaster" the leader will take the best items once the items that show up are good enough, because it's ALWAYS A SCAM.
If you can't slap the leader for being rude, it's just not safe.
If you want to lead a group, knowing YOU will be honest... nobody else can be sure of you, can they, unless they can slap you in person.
You can only really trust a person who is close enough to slap.

it's normal to do treasure hunt with randoms in PF, atleast in my server

I did some as well in pf back in the days. Whenever i feel like opening one tbh. Now with 6.3 coming there will likely be more parties as there is a new area to explore.
