Decorating gives me a headache, literally. If the system were ever changed so that we could place items anywhere and in any position, I would do more with it. I do change out seasonal items but even that can be a pain, when doing the exterior anyway, due to the low item limit both for storage and display. It's easier to keep some item slots free to move things around in the interior, but not being able to easily place things where I want means frustration often outweighs fun.

I used to get each one of those furnishings then keep in retainer/house storage. Not anymore. Nowadays I only get them if they fit to the rest of my house -- or if the item limit allows it. Otherwise, I'll just remember where it's from and get it when needed. That's just me though.

Not many of those items interest me anyway. The only ones that do (and I have them in the house) are the Greatwood Planter and Emet's potrait.

Personally, I keep my creations up to date, if there is new furniture that I feel would improve upon what is already there.
Sometimes I hesitate though, because glitching furniture is a chore, and especially on more complex decorations, I'm always afraid to break something during changes >.<.

My hope is, PvE content will not be the only sector where features from certain things we won't talk about are being included. Housing would greatly benefit from a similar treatment.

I'd do it more often if the system wasn't so clunky. I wish we could go into decoration more and not use our character for instance.

It would be nice if we could enter an overhead, free-camera mode like in other games with home decorating. Even XI's Mog Houses have this feature. \(;´□`)/

Waiting for the devs to fix their shitty decorating system and controls.

Give me a better, modern decorating system so I don't have to rely on clunky, tedious glitches and then I'll redecorate my houses more often.

I'm not inclined to undo my basement. Took months mostly due to needing to stop thinking about how difficult the pieces I wanted to use were behaving after part of it decided to break while I was working on a different part. That and there's only so long one can work on floating stuff before you just again need to take a break and leave it how it is. Now depending on how that new water feature we were shown in the patch notes look like I might risk replacing the one I cobbled together. Course if I win the house I bid on in the Ishgard housing area I'll just have to do it all from scratch. I also haven't settled on a theme or a look so.

Having to go into first person to place small things or even look at small things in the preview mode is tedious. Unless there is a better way? (I am on console, so could be user error on my part.)
