Some people like to optimize rotations, waiting 15 seconds for the tank to pull isn't going to kill you. Pulling before the tank certainly will.

I'd be happy to just get a timer. Its normal content, so its not the end of the world, but I never realized how much the lack of a pull timer really messes people up on their openers till I started playing BLM lmao.

Not only that. It misaligns raid buffs throughout an entire fight, which can lead to fights taking longer than required.

Pull timers are just a courtesy to those that actually care about getting better at the game, The people that refuse to abide by them 90% of the time only care about themselves and would rather pre-pull or troll pull at the cost of another player's gameplay.

Its a stark difference between JP and NA, Pulling without a pull timer in trials/raids rarely happens on JP because they respect other players. Where as NA is just 'LOL PULL WHO CARES'

There is this concept called a "starting signal", which is different than a ready check. I wonder if you ever heard of it, it's pretty common in real life too.

I've done a few, but honestly not much, and I never saw it there either. I've seen it more in 8-man raids where it's frankly funny to see a ready check, then a countdown. Cmon, it's not that difficult. But, I'm glad you could base an entire gameplay system around > 1% of the game.

Real q is why would I respect a pull timer that no one asked for? If someone wants to practice a level 70 or 80 rotation there are better places (and with more consistant results!) to be doing that, like the sync-dummies.

Tend to only wait if someone is new, otherwise its wall to wall and pull boss as soon as I get there.
