Or console players can just ask some else in the static to log runs. Dont think it's exactly likely to have a static be 'only console players allowed'.Nor are they expected to have to use damage meters. Anybody seriously advocating for there usage (in an environment where addons are ahem...downloadable) they would most likely play the PC version if they want to take raiding seriously somehow. Its also not as if this game needs a high end pc to run either.
If you want an honest take. I think the biggest reason why damage meters dont exist (besides the obvious drawbacks for toxicity) is because SE doesnt want to spend anymore time policing bad behavior by allowing such a tool create more toxicity. So its not because theyre trying to prevent the inevitable as it already still happens but they dont want to make it any worse.
You guys are really naive to think official parsing will improve the community when in every MMO where its the hard standard, it creates more contempt and problems than solutions.
I do just that. But during the raid isn’t the ideal time to try rotation tweaks and such. Having it default would mean I can do that in my time
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
Just want to point out, I'm seeing people saying "PS5 players can't use Damage Meters!"
If they were built natively in game, they could.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Nah, everyone knows console players are not real raiders. As someone implied here if someone is serious about raiding and wanted to use ACT they would be playing on PC.
