Anybody seriously advocating for there usage (in an environment where addons are ahem...downloadable) they would most likely play the PC version if they want to take raiding seriously somehow. Its also not as if this game needs a high end pc to run either.

Painting the opposition in such an infantile and unflattering light isn't a good way to have an honest conversation, and I feel like it's more about "winning" than actually presenting a reasonable point of view.

Didn't you hear? If someone has a bad experience then it's bad! It's like that rule where if your favorite game has a bad thing in it then it's an objectively bad video game. I don't make the rules, I'm just following them. ;_;

Not really, I speak from personal experience. The hardest part in any savage fight is learning the dance as well as making sure everyone else is more or less coordinated to do the fight with minimal to no deaths. Damage is then taken into consideration when applying that factor and 9 times out of 10 my static manages to clear the fights easily enough due to doing mechanics alone.

As a long term mythic wow raider and now a savage FF raider I also speak from experience. But it wouldn’t matter if I was still wiping in Satasha/on Hogger. It is a fundamental truth that bad dps makes fights harder. If you are disagreeing I’d have to say you bought that acct because you’re clearly new to games.

I failed with my wording here. I meant anybody who wants to seriously parse in an MMO will most likely be PC players as its the medium where such tools are made to be downloadable addons. You can still hardcore raid on console as like I said, fights are more about the dance than the numbers.

And Im for one ok with how it currently is with dont ask dont tell.

The "exchange" posted there was an answer to an equally hyperbolic case of made up nonsense. An example of a disingenuous argument and a statement that it is indeed just that: made up nonsense.

Let's be honest, shaming will happen. If it's not dps then it will be ilvl. If it's not ilvl then it's clears. If it's not clears then it will be glamours.
