Maybe some wouldn't have used their item restoration like that - but frankly, most people treat it like Elixirs in FF games. Hold onto it forever and never use it.
That's great to hear you had a positive experience with a GM, OP. You can actually leave this feedback directly in game and it will get to the GM team directly, just go to Support Desk>Contact Us>Leave a Suggestion and put it in and it will go straight to them! Unfortunately they're unlikely to see the feedback here as the forums are meant for feedback/suggestions regarding the game itself and not support related feedback or suggestions.

*game eats up house item you can now only get via mogstation*
*ask GMs to restore the one item*
"GM: lol, get ______ loser. Just buy it again"
Grats OP, it's nice when people do their job! I got hosed by them but it's nice to see it's not a 100% thing.

Never understand that concept "only-one-item-ever". I mean, if SE can restore one item, the can restore all items they want. It's not like it techincally impossible. Yeah some people can abuse it. Put some inner timer then. Like one item per year. BAM, problem solved. Then... why?

And they have the audacity to cry about "toxic positivity" when the majority of threads are negative towards the game
These people on the forum enjoy being victims, don't they.
Of course they can. Other games manage it fine and it's not too difficult to prevent abuse. WoW lets you restore a whole list of things with quite a short reset time. One-per-account is outdated.
They just don't have to. The ff14 community is extremely anti-QoL and will defend basically anything the game is lacking due to poor choice of engine and coding, despite the fact SE are trying to sell us a product like every other game company.
Anti QoL? Youre such a sad little liar, nobody is like thatOf course they can. Other games manage it fine and it's not too difficult to prevent abuse. WoW lets you restore a whole list of things with quite a short reset time. One-per-account is outdated.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
...Did we actually? Ugh.
I mean, toxic positivity is very clearly a thing in game.
...maybe not here on the forums, though LOL.
