Easy Mode/ Story Mode For Stages 25, 30, and 31

These modes would only be able to be accessed when the respective quests are active, would not get you stuff like Perfect Blue, nor would they count as a completed Masked Carnival events in terms of getting certain Totems. They would just be there for people who want to move on with the story and gain access to stuff like the Blue Mage log, so they can do the challenges later when they have better practice and better spells. I hope I am making sense. Would really like to continue the Blue Mage story.

Other Jobs don't require you to do hard solo content to progress their stories (at least, not without the option to lower the difficulty). This isn't Ultimate, Savage, or even Extreme content.

I can agree with that, I'm of the same mind, I wanna see the story I'm not looking to challenge myself, I'll go do other content for challenge or come back when I'm good enough.

In any game I always start out on easy mode so I can learn, once I'm comfortable then I move up till I'm at a place where in like this is the difficulty I'm comfortable with and when u get bored u challenge yourself further.

So, basically, unlike every other Job, if I can't do it I just can forget about progressing the story?

Scuffed runs of 25, 30 and 31 aren't particularly hard - do a few test runs to read debuff descriptions and get used to the timings. You might want spells you don't have, but is that not the whole point of blue mage? Put up a pf for lost city of amdapor for exuviation/go to the sea of clouds, or grab diamondback from the steps of faith/stone vigil hard and see how much further you can get. There's probably some really comprehensive guides if you're uninterested in solving the puzzle yourself too. Or grab pom cure from thornmarch (hard)/get healer mimic from pharos sirius (hard) and turtle your way through. They don't have enrages afaik, just looping phases.
