Until Yoshi finally gets the finger out and actually ilvl restricts content to what it should be then this will always be an issue. Imagine being a new player, getting to the end of HW and you face the final boss, everything leading up to this point and all the build up is instantly shattered because the candy men in the dev team are like, you know what would be cool, if we set everyones ilvl to maximum so they are each 120ilvl higher than they are suppossed to be. Boss melts.
This is the issue that plagues the 24man too, due to this the ARR 24man raid is over in 14minutes. So if you are asking people if they want to do a 14minute raid or a 40 minute raid with not much xp difference then a lot like myself are just going to opt for the 14 minute one. A lot of people don't like having their time wasted.
If they force us to sign up for them all by stopping ilvl cheese then I simply will never run that roulette again as it's not worth my time. I'll just do a dungeon as it's pretty much the same xp anyway.
I don't think DF could handle it too much failure happening already with simple mechanics.Best way would be bumping the CT alliance raids up in boss HP and giving some fights a rework, forcing you to do the mechanics instead of just bursting it down.
Glasya Labolas in Sycrus is just a 2-3 minute braindead piñata boss and close to no one knows how his fight originally was. Which is a shame.
tbh LotA has one simple mechanic: When he casts Ancient Flare, run back to your platform. They all wipe anyway. People should be used to being responsible for their failures. Future content should not be expected to be lenient.
Yep. It definitely would. If people didn't breeze through it as a quick tank and spank that you can just afk in the corner and do the bare minimum, there would be no incentive to do so. As well as making the whole thing not induce heavy coma into its players.

Better remove vote abandon and limit res. These are both outs for the lazy and unwilling. Don't think they won't use them to continue their lazy ways.
Isnt this how it already works anyway with DF content? There's both level and ilv requirements needed to queue for specific duties. The restrictions are already there, its how DF even functions.Until Yoshi finally gets the finger out and actually ilvl restricts content to what it should be then this will always be an issue. I don't understand what it is you're trying to say. Are you implying that a good way to approach the issue is removing Vote Abandon and Healer LB? If so, then a) Terrible decision really, and b) Those have nothing to do with what I said?
I fail to see how those are necessarily outs for the lazy. They might for the unwilling, but c'est la vie, there's the door, good bye. As for the lazy :| I mean, what, would you prefer the lazy remain in the instance, not contributing and just cutely sitting there in the corner while you do the heavy lifting? Is this a team game or...??
If a player is failing or not contributing kick them!! You don't have to deal with them everyone is just to lazy too do it. Never said remove lb I said limit res. Part of why people are lazy or not willing cause healers will res them everytime they die. Why bother to learn if group is letting you slack off and die to mechanics.I don't understand what it is you're trying to say. Removing Vote abandon forces competent players to take action and stop being lazy themselves. It's a two part problem players to willing let people slack off and mechanics not being nor will they be punishing enough in 24 man. I don't care if the ol mechanics are brought back, but let's not lie to ourselves like those mechanics will change things.

As for the cheersing of ivls. Crystal tower series is needed to reach shadowbringets, fixing I'll cheese and bring back old mechanics could back fire. And result in people cheersing other 24 man's instead of lab and cot..which would not be good for players who need them.
