    No, it's not. At no point do the DPS pull in the Hall of the Novice training. The tank always pulls. The most that happens is the DPS switches to an add that is already rushing in to attack the group.

    You're the one putting the group at risk by pulling instead of letting the tank do it. You have no clue what the tank's skill level is, how proficient they are at picking up loose mobs, what sort of latency they're dealing with that may cause the game servers to register their attacks on a delay or if they even have their attention on the game at that moment instead of distracted by something else.

    It is far safer to leave the tank in control of pulling for the party.

    If you want to be dictating the pace set by the group, be the tank.

    It's a pretty big leap to assume that someone who had reached level 90 on a tank job knows how to tank considering it's possible to level without stepping foot into group content.
