Illegitimate waymarkers for P7s

So I saw on youtube about some illegitimate waymarkers. It's funny how SE will use it down the road but ban the person. That is called being a hypocrite SE.

Instead of worrying about that why not fix some real issues in game and idk keep working on more plots for housing that people want. Make the UI better. Some other better ideas in game.

You're not going to get housing development of all things from the people who suspend (not even ban!) cheaters.
But you can see that they're going forward to change the layout of arenas that morph moving forward to help allow players use their waymarks tactfully and legally.

I just find it funny every time someone gets suspended over something they made more creative then they finally implement it in. In other words they are PO'ed that people figure out better things to be implemented then they do. Especially since it was mainly JP servers that got a hissy fit over some waymarkers they need to get a stick out of their butts.

Except it wasn't a creative workaround, which they don't particularly give suspensions for. It was straight up third-party tool used cheating.
Cheating should be punished.

I think it falls down to banning person for coming up with useful tool that helps players because SE didn't have it there and then they copy that person's idea and implement as if it were their own.

Housing is dumb. Why doesn't the WoL get a god damn house as part of a questline instead of being a dumb gil sink in a lottery you probably won't win?

I mean, this isn't hard. You can moralise your use of 3rd party tools all you like, it doesn't matter. SE has a blanket ban so if you decide to use 3rd party tools then thats the risk you take.

They aren't copying the idea/tool though. The user used a tool that allows the to place Way marks where ever. SE will simply never create arenas that change where you don't have access to the whole field in the future, and will make the current one big enough to allow them to be placed without tools.

It's rather SE implemented it afterwards because the method was already widespread so that players who play by the rules aren't in a disadvantage.

They aren't copying the idea/tool though. The user used a tool that allows the to place Way marks where ever. SE will simply never create arenas that change where you don't have access to the whole field in the future, and will make the current one big enough to allow them to be placed without tools.

Except they will be integrating a similar feature later and the only reason it happened is because SE created this problem with the transforming Arena deleting Markers because they have to be on a surface.

That's not what that says. The thing being implemented later is the arena being bigger so markers can be placed where they currently only can via this 3rd park hack.

They are not implementing a tool that let's you place markers on thin air.

Nor do markers get deleted when the ground vanishes. They would remain, you just can place them where ground is not, even if it shows up later.
