I'm fine with 8 man content for now. hard enough getting 8 good people to do things with atm.

I wouldn't mind that, I loved low manning stuff in FFXI.

They need to remove the 8-man requirement on dungeons. If my 6 adventurers want to take it on without full party bonus, then let us PLAY the game. Artificial restriction just ruins people's fun. Difficulty of content should be what sets the bar on how large a party you need to bring.

8+ contents needs to land in this game asap.

    Anyone here with me?
It's so hard to understand that untill 2.0 nothing more complex will be introduced?! There are many reasons for these and I don't have any intention to explain them here.

agreed. we've taken alts with us just to get into alot of the fights. 6 man ifrit was fun btw. let us enter with as many people below the number as we feel we can complete the content with. they can keep the 8 max limit, but allow us to bring in less if we wish.

No matter the raid size you will often always have to have people sitting out. 8, 10, 16, 20, 25 ect. I seen this in so many games you have to overfill your roster to make sure you can still do something.

WoW for example has 10 and 25 man raids. People who make a 10 man group usually get like 12-13 because there are times when people can't make it. While someone with a 25 man raid usually get around 30 people for their roster.

Bigger raid sizes still means some people will still have to sit out.

8+ party content? Why? I never really saw the point, there is no fun in a massive zerg fest. Anything that requires a full linkshell is hardly a threat at all, I fail to see the challenge or the fun in effectively zerging something to death. That just me. I'd more like to see more 2-4 man party content, things to remind me of the console ff games. I personally think 8 is almost too many.

Idk about you but its rare for an entire shell to be available to do anything. And I'm in two rather active shells. And really if you have a whole bunch of ppl wanting to do dungeons or primals, just make multiple parties of shell members. There's no reason why you can't make multiple 8-man parties, + or - a couple randoms to fill class roles. As far as giving linkshells something to do, linkshell content is unnecessary. Linkshells decide for themselves what they want to do. Organize runs with multiple squads, get achievements, go exploring, try to take down some baddies in mor dhona...how can you honestly say linkshells are irrelevant without ls content?

People rely way too much on a game telling them what to do. Make your own fun, make your own adventure, and make your own linkshell events. If you need a zergfest to give your ls purpose, then you're definitely doing it wrong. Thats just laziness on the leader's part. If thats you, consider organizing stuff yourself or letting someone else take over. Not everyone is fit for that job after all, leading is tough work. One of the primary reasons why I will never lead an ls in my life..dont have the time or the energy to do it properly. Course I can admit this, most ppl cant.

8+ content lacks fun imo. Though, they could implement dungeons that require multiple parties of 8 to clear, or boss battles with multiple opponents that would require a couple parties. Honestly though, 2-4 man content would be much more interesting. 8+ only works when its engaged in a really creative way; zerg fests just aren't fun to me.

I think it's good for AF because its "artifact armor" not suppose to be super easy though it is.
Definitly should work on a better search function an party camps instead.

    Greetings!

In 1.22 we are actually planning to lower the required number of participants for Cutter's Cry and Aurum Vale.

Also, for those of you who are curious as to whether alliances will be added in 2.0, you will be happy to know that we will be adding the ability to form alliances as well as content to go along with it!

You do not mention difficulty. Is the dungeon harder/easier/same with 4 people?
