Well, let me rephrase then, because with high survivability comes lower dps (unless you're a ninja)That's not a fair comparison, because both warrior's and death knights do have MORE sustain, especially death knight. But being tanks, they don't have access to the escape tools that melee dps do. In this case, Reaper has Hell's Ingress which is a really great escape tool.
I'll give you that Warrior is not durable at all, but that's a Warrior issue and comparing Warrior to Reaper kind of misses the mark because (1) they're different roles and (2) Warrior is special in that its sustain requires dealing damage to heal - which is easily countered by all the crowd control that's in the game right now. Reaper doesn't have heals really and uses mitigation/shields which work better in this meta - plus as a melee dps, they have access to good escape tools. It's not really a fair comparison at all - unless you're arguing that tanks should have access to escape tools too.
But I agree, for Warrior, they should just fully revert the blood whetting nerf and give them back 20% health shield.
Death Knight is plenty sustainable... so I'm not sure why you brought that job up.
As for reaper, they're fine as they are sustain wise.
And while it really hurts to lose all stacks of immortal sacrifice on death, getting a buff on that front and losing mitigation on a reaper would be game breaking. There would be no point in playing a reaper at that point since other melee jobs, and ranged dps, have easier access to large burst and better limit breaks and also great sustain...
.
If they take away some of their sustain, I'm okay with it. They're more survivable than warriors and death knights right now. That needs to take a hit.
