pretty sure that SE decided to emulate WoW once again, and are letting the Forums devolve into a fire in a garbage dump.. generally unattended.

a few years ago moderation was farmed out to a third party.. who I am guessing just collect a paycheque.. and do not actually do anything

Some ignorant people on these forums who disrespect transgender people (and also unsurprisingly tend to defend Kiwi Farms) decided that in the absence of an actual argument that’s grounded in science beyond an early high-school level that they should instead baselessly accuse people who defend transgender people existing as apparently supporting pedophilia. Unfortunately, the mods rarely seem to do anything on the forums, so the insecurity of transphobes, some of whom also probably find modern science to be a conspiracy too, tends to remain visible for a while.

Funnily enough, I didn't even know what KiwiFarms WAS let alone that it even existed until Juri brought it to my attention less than a month ago. Yay me, I guess?
