Would be nice, won't happen. (cry in hrotgal that won't be a thing before the next expansion)

*Shrugs* more focus on your race? personally i think the game should keep expanding its roster of playable races and jobs, there is plenty of manpower and resources to allow them to do that and work on the rest of the game. Need i remind you they are doing a graphical overhaul in the background.
Yeah it'd be like making a helmet that works with horns sticking out of your head, or ears on the top of your head! No, almost certainly not.
1: New races take an exorbitant amount of time and resources to make work, and given that they're just *now* getting around to sorta-kinda-maybe fixing Viera hats... I mean, bunny ears are one thing, imagine trying to make gear that works with wings sticking out of your head.
2:And no, Meteion is rather unique. She had some identical clones also produced, but she was never approved for mass-production and there are no backups of her data for reproduction.
Desire for Uniqueness and variety is ever mans bane isn't it?
Tbf we're all just some type of human with cat ears, or human with horns and scales.
Do you work at SE? Do you have a direct line to Yoshida? Because whenever Yoshida has talked about the addition of new races, he has iterated just how costly and difficult it is to work on and add new races. The addition of each race adds more and more to the workload with each and every patch. The fact that we somehow got male viera and female hrothgar on the way is a miracle in and of itself.*Shrugs* more focus on your race? personally i think the game should keep expanding its roster of playable races and jobs, there is plenty of manpower and resources to allow them to do that and work on the rest of the game. we're talking about a company that can't put a hat on a rabbit, how do you think they would make this race? No hat and hair, because of the "wings" on the head, no pants, because of the bird's tail, and no shoes, because of the paws.
If we are going by Anatomical i feel that same way about Lala's lets work towards them being removed first shall we? >That's why I didn't play Xenoblade either (along with its generally disappointing/ugly character designs).
Wings sprouting from the skull are an anatomical nightmare, and imo look ridiculous. I was quite disappointed to see it show up in XIV, and as the final boss no less.
I hope we never see this race ever again. It's hideous.
I love you Yoshi-P, but you tripped at the finish line.![]()
The wings are no different than the horns for Viera, as for pants eh, make them all cutt off at the knee. To be fair it is a shame they cant get helmets/hats right, but it does not mean the race couldn't be made. Also Meteion doesn't have Paws.
P.s. i prefer playable garleans over any other race but i do like the look of Meteion.
Hmm maybe they should delete a few races to make the work load easier. Thing is as a designer once you have the skeleton of the gear piece type set on the model you can just copy/paste to the design and tweak it. at least from what little i've dabbled in.Do you work at SE? EDIT:
oh yes, SE has been doing a good job fixing the items for the races, they will definitely do that...
