I've been playing since beta. I've done Savage, EX, Unreal, POTD, HoH, crafted, mained 5 jobs, played the world over. Anti-IS folk will call lovers of the game nothing more than filthy casuals, but we're not.

Island Sanctuary calms me down so much.

I've never felt so calm and relaxed and had so much fun just talking with my FC mates while I slowly build up resources and take in how beautiful the scenery is without any aggro.

It's been so wonderful to have spent this last week playing it and I just feel so refocused and energized when I leave the game. I'm so thrilled that this exists.

Island Sanctuary is really peaceful and pretty as well. I'm definitely enjoying it along with how it's not something that needs to be to be rushed. It is very relaxing and enjoying that I can go out gather items and catch creatures for my pasture.^_^

It's a great way to spend the 30 minutes after I quit another dugeon because some incompetent healer asked me to single pull.

I don't find a map full of clickable objects and timers relaxing though. Like others have said I just walk outside if I want to relax out in nature or visit one of the prettier zones in this game like Il Mheg and take screenshots.

I also find it relaxing. I've always loved games like the Harvest Moon series. Combining that with FFXIV is something I really love. I look forward to seeing my island every day to gather from my animals and plants. And looking for rare animals is fun, and even more fun when you manage to catch one.

It definitely is a very relaxing piece of content, honestly. There's a sense of chore behind it, but I personally find it to be a stunning zone. If they could incorporate a Summoning Bell then it would definitely overtake everywhere else for me. Inc. Housing. Whilst it isn't as customisable, it's expanse and I love the aesthetic

You just described pretty much the entire game when you think about it....

It's alright when I am tired and want to sleep, or when I am watching/listening to something on the side to keep busy. Not something that is unique to Island Sanctuary though.
