The biggest problem I have with this mentality is that the game itself "spoils" you if you look at the token vendor. Its the same with anything FF14 outside the game until you complete the MSQ, avoid it because nothing will stop you from being spoiled.

It is pretty rude to post a spoiler right in the title on the day of release. Usage is that people put a spoiler warning in the title.

If you are going to include story-related content the very least you could do is have the common courtesy of redacting the name. It is a General Discussion, and a place where people come here to discuss a wide variety of topics, and not just that related to the story, so people shouldn't need to avoid this place (The Lore forum, perhaps) on an account that you cannot extend the courtesy of redacting a name.

Speaking of common courtesy, not everyone has played all 20 FF games, moreover not everyone knows what happened in one of those games or who the characters were, therefor I didnt even see it as a spoiler to start with.

if you dont want to get spoiled, avoid places where people discuss freshly released content. it is that simple

There's a ton of discussion on the General Discussion forums that has nothing whatsoever to do with the plot of the game, including gameplay tweaks, suggestions, cosmetic ideas, etc.. I would expect to avoid the Lore forums if I didn't want plot spoiled on Day One. Gen Disc shouldn't have lore spoilers. Basic consideration here.
