please, i don't want cryptlurker robe v.2 D: I want that beautiful tailored gold trim and layered tail jacket. Even the detailing around the casting/healing top doesn't match. Why is it ruffled? Why isn't it trimmed the same? Why aren't the sleeves the same? They are not from the same gearset.

It is so rare for me to use new raid sets as my glamour, especially for healers. My issue with robes is not the they are robes, it's that system limitations prevents them from having the actual physics these robes should exhibit. These limitations also prevent the designers from releasing very elegant, and flowy robes that I would love to have for my healers. WHM and AST in particular.

The other issue I have with robes is that they are also released alongside really gorgeous legwear that gets completely covered up by the robe. This deters the use of the robe even further. Last issue I will mention is how sad I get when the top piece of the robe is absolutely wonderful, and the bottom half of the body piece completely eliminates it from glamour dresser contention. It's like finding cashmere on sale, only to realize that there's a discoloration on it.

    tl;dr no more robes T_T

It especially annoys me that like DNC we never get any sets that fit the shield healers, SCH Is an army medic/tactician and SGE is a magical doctor I’m pretty sure they ain’t wearing flowing robes

Glams for male shield healers basically amounts to the 6 artefact sets between the shield healers

The last set of caster gear I liked was the Allagan Tunic of Casting/Healing.

I really wish we could get some more items like those; relatively form fitting, knee length, no stupid wings/tails/etc

The best Yoshi-P can give you is a Disney Princess dress as an alternative. xD

There are plenty of available sets that aren't robes or gowns. Or maybe there's a misunderstanding of what robes and gowns are here?

There are only so many iterations of body-swamping robes that can be interesting and yet we still get a huge amount of them. Robes, dresses, even super long coats that are like glued all the way around. It means you can't see the legs and feet so they're very inflexible pieces for glamming and they move really weird like they're glued to the knees. Which is why having so many of them gets annoying because fabric differences of wether its a key or a bone or a crystal hanging off a chain on the hip doesn't really make them fun to mix and match. Integrating the robe or skirt or bottom of a huge coat into the leg slot instead would solve this. That way gearsets could function as a short and long version allowing people to mix and match which is where the fun comes in. The same goes for the huge sleeves that cannot be covered up by full length gloves. It's the silhouette that's the problem - the robe is wearing you

Y'know what would fix this problem? Unlocked glamor gear.

I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.
