Showing annoyance is the best way to get them to stay. Give ;em a wink or something and continue your lalafell antics on the ledge. They'll get bored eventually.
e: Ahhh well, that twitter post is something else :X Report those idiots of course, but I'd just ignore the others best you can. Not sure if "standing in my spot" qualifies as a valid report or not.
Its stuff like this that furthers down the image of roegadyn players as it seems its the common norm to run into meme players rather than actual serious ones who enjoy roes for their lore.
Oh well.
When in doubt just report it with evidence. Based on how the OP described the situation, along with photos of the specific character names that are generated just to annoy, the support team may consider it actionable.
However, I would also agree that making a forum thread about this topic can only serve as validation for those sorry souls who perversely gain pitiful pleasure out of unproductive and socially regressive behavior.
As these pathetic little minds can only recognize their existence by being a nuisance, you may be providing them the much needed attention to provide light to their self-victimizing ways, prohibiting them from becoming self-reliant.
Meanwhile, it is also possible that a thread like this can gain attention of some random support staff who would see this as a problem... but I really doubt the support team looks at the forums in the same regularity as they used to back during the times if ARR.

LMAO I'm dead.
Dude by letting this bother you, you're giving him more entertainment. Someone's gonna give this dude this thread and he's going to mock you for it. Who cares if he's visually obstructing you? He can't stop you lmao.
Trolls can only troll by upsetting you. Enjoy this and lose with him. Pose with him, get some good booty shots, shake em in them small clothes with the roe fam. Then when you're bored of it, just go about your business. They'll eventually get bored too lol
edit: ooo nvm saw the Twitter post, yeah just report and ignore the dude. He's just a weirdo lmao
Your mistake was not ignoring this when it first started. The fact that you got upset and made it known to them, means they're going to keep doing it. They get off in annoying people.
I'm surprised that after this long, people STILL don't know how to deal with trolls. In case you don't know, the ONLY EFFECTIVE WAY is to not react. Literally do nothing, carry on and pretend they aren't there. This is 100% guaranteed to make them give up and move on. But it's too late for that now. You're just gonna have to deal with it.
Normally I'd agree, but I don't know if "just ignore it" is a viable strategy for someone with the resources and sheer no-life necessary to multibox 15-ish trial accounts. Its not really costing him anything to leave them there forever while he plays his real account. Active action is the only thing that will make this person change their behavior.Your mistake was not ignoring this when it first started. Besides, I've been targeted enough IRL that I'm not comfortable standing by for any of it, even this. I'd rather speak up and have it do nothing, then stand by and be quiet and just hope they go away. I reject passivity. I would rather take action and fail then do nothing.
I mean tbh it is a viable strategy if you've already blacklisted/reported him. There's not much else you can do from there especially if multiple people have reported the accounts. Yeah they're a no life for doing it so the most you and other people can do is not feed into it and let him sit like a dumbass who's made 15+ trial accounts just to troll strangers he doesn't know online. He's wasted hours doing this, you don't have to.Normally I'd agree, but I don't know if "just ignore it" is a viable strategy for someone with the resources and sheer no-life necessary to multibox 15-ish trial accounts. Sometimes being the bigger person is just doing all that you can (report/blacklist), ignore it and walk away.
Oh.. that's what that was.
and people wonder why people would love to hide other avatars.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
