Glamours: Re-work the entire system.

No way they can fix that. If it was possible they would be ready done by now. Maybe when the game is on stage of no content maybe they fix it or not. It just they cant do it due to engine weirdness. We need to accept it and ask more space for the future.

I'm not buying this even for a second. WoW touted said technical issues for years before finally relenting and giving in. It took them 7 years to add something even resembling a glamour system (transmog/void storage), and 4-5 years later for the actual log (appearance tab). Just because something is hard or even some semblance of a challenge, doesn't mean it's impossible.

But it does beg the question is it worth doing? Clearly to the FFXIV dev team it is not worth doing currently, maybe in the future but I am not holding my breath. I also highly doubt a large portion of the community has used even close to 400 slots, unless they straight up horde every possible drop so maybe SE's data reflects this is a niche issue and not a major one that needs such an aggressive approach. They would have to relocate resources from one aspect to another. Sure this could largely also be seen as a funding issue, SE is not putting enough back into the game that is making them profits, but sadly that is the nature to pull profits from the money maker into other projects.

Wow was finally able to provide a glamour system (transmog/void storage) because they rewrote the entire back-end of the game. The expansion was called Cataclysm. I don't remember a lot of requests prior to that for the transmog system. I would have remembered something like that.

And SE didn't say it was 'impossible', only that they couldn't do it with their current setup. There's a big difference between "won't do it" and "the cost isn't worth it at this time".
