I loaned or gave money for houses .... to people in my FC and social linkshells. I got the nickname "The Iron Bank of Mest" from one person who worked her butt off to repay everything for her house, which she still owns.
I don't mind tossing a million gil to a new player of my own volition, but I ain't gonna do it for a stranger begging in shout chat.
Would that be considered as harassing someone if i tell a beggar that i accept to give him gils and then blacklist him + use /gratuity ? :3

Interesting. I've been playing since late 2018 and have never once been asked for gil, not counting moments of jest. In fact, it is frustratingly difficult to get friends to take my money.

"You are just going to give me one of those stoic nods aren't you?"
WOL = Nods
(one of my favorite moments)
Open a trade, put a million gil into the trade window
...and go afk instead of clicking accept c:
I dance for gil send tell.
As someone that's actually looking for a FC, it frustrates me when people just send invites with nothing else. At least send me one of those generic tells or something. I know that's low effort too but still...
Keep your money safe so no one can take it away from you!Heyo, just wanted to hear some opinions or just vent
In the past few weeks people begging for gil are everywhere.
It's mostly begging for house money or not specified. The shout chat is full (people are even world travelling to beg), the party finder has multiple ppl in it etc.
Blacklisting everyone fills up the list quite fast, it's so annoying imo. Anyone wants to give their two cents?
I wish this would be against ToS, honestly.
