I predate all of the hrothgar threads. I am a veteran viera player. I was among the first to post in MANY of these so called "hrothgar" threads, in SUPPORT of hrothgar updates.

We're really doing this? Viera players did nothing but spam their threads and their livestreams, Hrothgars didn't do anything. Why are you making a big deal about the posts here?

I dare you to tell me that your feedback in here netted anything good. You're just as bad as we are. You were here first? Surely you remember just how much you guys whined for three years. Now, what, we can't do it when WE have actual reason to complain? Far more than you lot, at least you guys got something out of all the whining. And then you have the gall of saying that you "came first"? Going first isn't an indication of anything whatsoever, nor has it done anything for us. That's why we're in this mess to begin with, unlike Viera. And I can tell you right now, it didn't matter worth a damn.

Remind me, how did you get Male Viera again? Was it constructive, well-thought out, calm and respectful criticism?

I always viewed myself as an ally to hrothgar players. (...) It's like the only user on here I can even have an actual discussion with anymore on the subject is Adamantini, and they are a male viera player (!). The way they give feedback could even make me support male viera updates! If many hrothgar players gave more measured, constructive feedback, I think more people would be willing to listen.

Is that why you had a barrage of Hrothgar telling you to stop because you were just bringing us down?

All you've been doing was tell people to "just take it". You are no saint, Churro. If you're such an ally, why were you always shutting them down both when they had REASONS, valid reasons, to feel upset and express their frustration AND when gave proper feedback right after? People have since then actually posted proper feedback, and you STILL gave them a hard time for trying!! And just like every outsider here, you only focused on the frustration part and turned your backs on us!

"Oh only Adamantini gets me", sis you literally could have had a pleasant talk with people even if you disagreed with them, but all you've done was shut others out. Don't cry about it to us now. Because I have zero qualms with Adamantini whatsoever, and I haven't always agreed with him either. I even gave you the benefit of the doubt, many people did, but you just weren't having it. THAT'S why you then had a whole line of Hrothgar telling you to stop. It wasn't because "Oh woe be me, everyone is dramatic but Adamantini", it's because we told you "please stop bringing us down this hard, we're trying, and we don't want to resort to spamming their livestreams and be any more rude than we already have been?" and you just kept going.

Maybe be pleasant? Then you get to say that. Stop pinning the blame on other people, Hrothgars made it clear why they get upset at you, you're the only one who still hasn't grasped it. People HAVE posted feedback the way you wanted and what did you do? Shove yourself in there and tell people to stop because the devs won't care. If the shoe were on the other foot, would YOU like us to tell you to stop trying to get the devs' attention after we got all the fun and all you got was scraps?

This is was around the start of when people began having issues with you the most, it just bled into the megathread the week after where the aforementioned barrage happened. Are you really going to deny just how much you ignored and twisted just to act contrarian? Because I thought I was clear and calm, I just lost every ounce of patience with you after you kept harping on the same notes and ignoring me, and from what I saw, so did everyone else afterward.

We weren't the ones who told you that Viera were now a trigger word, even when Viera players were also giving us a hard time when we were at the height of feeling upset about the situation. You did, though, and all because you didn't grasp that people wanted a bit more support than just "I get you all and I wish it were different, but just quit". Not everyone wants to quit, Churro. We aren't asking for "yes-men" here, but we're not going to take it when people tell us "the devs don't care, give it up" over and over. Because we've seen the devs do stuff for your race, why wouldn't they do it for ours? Or if not, at least give us a better answer than the one we got. And here's the thing, I actually tend to enjoy when you chime in, because you sound like you think. But sometimes, you really do just come out to shut people down. I wouldn't do that if I were in your shoes, I'd have stuck and say "yeah no, this is unfair, keep it up, because we got stuff through sheer brute force and I for one would rather not have a repeat of that; it's unfair for you, and it's unfair on the dev team".

Your way of supporting us isn't as benevolent as you make it sound, Churro.
