Sure, "many" players, but how many?.I would have rather seen the resources spent on things more useful like ear holes, bows to hide tail clipping, etc. They could have at least done the hempen sets for everyone if anything.

I can't believe this is on the shop but not guaranteed big money makers like Grahas set/Exarchs, Emet-Selchs, Gaius' Shadowhunter set, or Gaia's set.
Granted I personally dont want those on the shop unless theyre gonna degenderlock them and make them dyable but considering how many viera I see wearing Lyse's hair and girlies in general wearing Ryne's top or boots they'd still make a killing regardless.

Aside from Edda and the Heavens' Ward sets. Of course, the latter are just pallet swaps of existing gear, and the former would sell for fanservice value alone.

On the contrary, Yoshida has decided to add the Garlean gear in the future after I’ve asked him in this year’s Q&A. He specifically said that he’s lifting the ban off the Garlean gear, since the Garleans are no longer our enemies.

tbf the past villains were Square Enix Darth Vader Clone no.12, The Pope With Spock Ears, and Sephiroth As Written By Coldsteel the Hedgehog meanwhile Emet is an actual character people give a crap about.
I personally don't care for him or the forced narrative of "oh you were bestiewesties when you were Azem so please care about the CEO of Racism" but ain't nobody gonna deny he actually had an impact on the playerbase and the others sucked and were boring.
