PL isn't a problem and it is intended and it works beautifully. You problem is lack of players in the game so obviously all people do is PL each other. Though majority of the times than not on Wutai I see EXP parties shouting and using the awesome search feature majority of the parties are normal no PL parties. Low levels is kind of meant to solo or small party play. No one is making you PL. I personally think it is UNACCEPTABLE that you are complaining about it and cannot play the game the way you want to when the option is right there in your face. If you wife wants to play the game then don't join a PL party, DUH.

My wife recently volunteered complaints after being Powerleveled: "This is boring; I want to play the game but this is all anyone's doing".

Duh!

If you're going to attack a post, at least have the balls to attack the whole thing.
