This. Thank you. The original poster specifically said that others from other server were interrupting rp by dancing on them without clothes. If that isn't harassment, I dont know what is. But because other people don't get or don't like rp, it's "not their problem" and those who have issues need to "get over it." Or "quit."

It's 100% harassment. When this happens, you publicly and politely ask them to leave your space. If they refuse, go into your settings menu, there is a section for contacting the GMs and informing them of what is going on. Make sure you have the timestamps of when it began and the names/servers of the people involved, so they can check the logs.

Move away from them, if they continue to follow you, continue taking down the timestamps and what's going on, GMs will usually contact you and ask for more details to give them. Adding in coordinates from the map as to your location and the offender can also help.

While yes some people have been dismissive, there is something to be said about the fact the OP went to the most extreme reaction possible. Stating their intention to “quit” if SE doesn’t get rid of the system. That kind of behavior is going to whether right or wrong invite people to push back and be dismissive.

I don’t think you are wrong in validating the feelings of the OP, but the OP had and has more well documented official ways to deal with the situation as well as more mature options from the individual standpoint than to come to these forums demanding SE remove a system they just implemented and spent god knows how much time and resources into developing.

While I can see where you're coming from, re-reading the original post, he only mentioned his feelings that he feels the DC travel was a mistake. In the later post, he asked for someone to do something about it since even reporting does nothing. I can see both sides of the argument, but I do not feel that the original poster's post was "immature" in any way. If anything, those who dismissed them seemed more immature to me.

TBF, Balmung natives always act rather elite and complain about "sex tourists" on their server. Yet funny enough, the ones doing the most complaining are also the ones who constantly sit in the Quicksand shout chat and do little to nothing else.

I've seen it any number of times where natives will harass other players because they aren't from Balmung.

Balmung is what it is. No amount of complaining on the forums is going to do anything about it. The Quicksand is where people go for horny, if they don't use other sources. Nothing is going to change that.

If you want to RP so badly, why do you center on the area where all the ERP is taking place? Limsa, Gridania, Eulmore, lots of other places that aren't nearly as crowded or used for this purpose. Yet you insist on camping right in the ERP hotspot and saying that's where you want to roleplay.

There's nothing stopping the RPers from shifting to another world and RPing in that Ul'dah, after all. Most of the others, to what I have seen, are pretty much 99% dead with few to no people at all in them. If your RP demands being in that area, there are other worlds to do it on.

Being unable to transfer my character on the new Servers because of this janky system is so frustrating. There's no point playing PvP before transfer since the stuff will get reset too, I will miss the fun chaos of the initial rush of new season.
